Strongroom launch… STRONGROOM ALIVE RADIO

East London pioneers, Strongroom are launching Strongroom Alive, a lifestyle radio station broadcast- ing to the world from the heart of Shoreditch. Strongroom studios & bar has sat right in the middle of this cultural hotbed for music, art and fashion for more than 25 years and this unique position is key to Strongroom Alive radio becoming a major voice for not just the area, but for creative communties around the world.
The station will host music-led shows from some of the local area’s leading record labels, magazines, galleries, shops and promoters – featuring exciting up and coming bands as well as the best of British leftfield and electronic music old and new, with a huge volume of high quality output being broadcast around the clock. Although the shows are all East London based, Strongroom Alive Radio is a not a local radio station; but a global station built to harness the energy of one of the world’s leading creative cultural hotspots.
Strongroom Alive will launch in February 2012 and be available for 28 days on FM and on Freeview, and longer-term via the Internet and mobile apps the station has a huge potential reach across the globe.

Broadcasting live from the Strongroom studio complex, these two hour shows will feature a mixture of DJ mixes, selected music, guest interviews, competitions, countdowns and features. Drawing upon Strongroom Studios’ more than twenty years of production experience, the station will feature innova- tive programming, showcasing the expertise, charisma, and creative passion of DJ’s, artists, designers, fashionista’s, record label impresarios, journalists, editors, singers, promoters etc…
Rocketscience Media will be promoting the station and its partners in a variety of different ways over the coming months, giving you access to interviews and features with the show’s presenters as well as the people behind the station.
